Data recovery
Getting your files back
On the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M3 Pro / M3 Max the storage is soldered to the logic board and encrypted by the Mac’s security chip. It can’t be taken out and read in another computer, so if the Mac won’t start, getting your files back means repairing the board until it boots again. Liquid damage and power faults are the usual causes, and most are repairable.
